Cape Jaffa Mesmer Eyes

A skin-contact white natural wine from Cape Jaffa on the Limestone Coast in SA. Captivating Gewurztraminer showcasing the beautiful fragrant lift of this German grape variety. During the winemaking process, the grapes were carefully picked and crushed in a concrete egg. A wild fermentation on skins took place, allowing the wine to develop its unique flavors and aromas. After 10 days, the skins were gently foot stomped and the juice was basket pressed. The wine then matured back in the ceramic egg on its own lees for four months before being bottled. It is important to note that this wine is unfined and unfiltered, retaining its natural qualities. The nose is pleasantly aromatic, with enchanting notes of jasmine and green apple. On the palate, it delivers a smooth and velvety texture, providing a delightful drinking experience.
